Long in the rearview mirror are they days when I thought my DAW was the all-important master of my professional destiny, now, it's just a digital editing bay, I even do my MIDI sequencing from an MPC 1000, Plugins are still plugins, different UI's, same s**t, very few if any features are game-changing, I find myself recording to tape and buying hardware processors, I then dump to digital for editing, if I need to compress something again I'll run it out and through one of my hardware compressors, I mess with the plugs sometimes just to see what's there and it laughable how inferior they are, I've discovered extending the life of an analog signal only increases it's quality. If you don't HAVE to leave Snow Leopard than I'm wondering why you would?

When Mountain Lion came out I heard a few negative stories so I stuck with SL on my Mac Pro. I've been running Logic Pro 9 on Snow Leopard for a long time now, and I think I need to start looking at upgrading the OS.
